“Following last night’s preview of the new Bleached Pushead x Nike SB Dunk Low, we can now give you a (somewhat) better look as well as a full recap of the San Francisco-based artist’s installation at Civilist Berlin. Pushead’s “An Installation,” curated by Juergen Bluemlein (Skateboard Museum) and features an assortment of graphic tees, skate decks, vinyl album covers, original artwork and a bleached shirt as worn by Pushead’s band Septic Death.
Back to the shoe: though the 2012 version eschews the quilted lining seen on the 2005 version, the frog fetus skeleton logo on the heel remains. Bleached canvas panels pair up with black suede, a gum sole and a custom insole featuring Pushead artwork. Look for these to hit as a quickstrike this fall.”
